week one of the challenge!

Whew, week one is done and the headaches are finally gone. Who knew I drank and ate that much caffeine! It was brutal the first few days but much better now.

The high school skinnies (wendy, jessica, jd and myself) weighed in this morning for our first week weigh in and lost a total of 26 lbs! As Jessica put it, the world is now 26 lbs lighter!
JD won week one with a 3.97% weight loss. I lost 2.58%, wendy 1.84% and Jessica .62 (bad weekend for her).

We figured JD would start off well, guys always do, but now I am going to have to push harder to get ahead and win this.

This weeks goal, another 8 lbs! Wish me luck!

Count Down to High School Skinny!

Ok, i am late, but joining the weight reduction bandwagon and have managed to coerce 4 friends and coworkers to join in the fun!

Local radio station KNIX has been going on and on about this Healthe' Trim and they have all lost weight on it. They are starting a contest, that starts March 15th - for 10 contestants, I submitted an application, but they are supposed to be calling everyone today that is a contestant and I didn't get a call YET, so think I may not have made it :(

Regardless, I have motivated Jess, JD, Omai and Wendy to join me for the same time frame. We begin with our first weigh in Monday, March 15th and go for 8 weeks, finishing up on Monday, May 10th. Each one of us is putting in 100.00, so the winner, the one with the biggest percent of weight lost, gets 500.00!

This should be the kick in the ass I need to get some weight off me! Monday, counting down and getting ready to begin and win the High School Skinny Contest!

All I have to say about my extra lbs and fat, is don't let the door hit you on the way out!

RAIN RAIN FOR CRYING OUT LOUD GO AWAY!

Good Lord, home much rain can one take? If I wanted this much rain I would have stayed in that craphole Oklahoma.

Yet again, rain today. The grey, gloominess and overcast is really bringing me down, not to mention killing my arthritis, sinus and allergies. And don't even get me started on the dogs with the same issues!

Knitting is coming along great, the I have got the scrub the house from top to bottom due to the on again off again rain we have had every single week since Jan 20th.

Whew, I feel better just letting that out.
